Launch your nursing career in Alberta's Graduate Nurse Transition Pilot Program at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. Enjoy personalized support for a successful transition to independent nursing.

This 12-month program aims to cultivate new Registered Nurses in a caring setting. It includes an initial Enhanced Orientation phase with experienced Clinical Guides and a subsequent Independent Practice phase with ongoing mentorship. You'll engage in patient care, health promotion, and family advocacy, focusing on safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing services to patients and families
• Utilize critical thinking for patient care solutions
• Teach and advocate for patients and families




• Support integrated approaches to health promotion
• Reflect organization’s vision and values in practice

Requirements:
• Completion of accredited nursing education program
• Active or eligible for practice permit with CRNA
• Current BCLS-HCP certification
• Graduated within 12 months of program start
• Review UNA Letter of Understanding #29 prior to interview
