As part of AgeCare’s dedicated team, the Cook ensures meals are prepared on time in a sanitary and safe kitchen. This role includes supervising Food Services Workers and addressing any concerns from residents and families. Your influence will support the community’s well-being and dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare meals and monitor special dietary needs
• Keep kitchen areas clean and organized
• Supervise and direct Food Services Workers effectively
• Address concerns from residents or families promptly
• Verify special diet orders for recent admissions

Requirements:
• Prior cooking experience, ideally in a supervisory capacity
• Valid Safe Food Handling Certificate
• At least public-school education, high school preferred
• Certification in food preparation required
• Open to applicants without Canadian work experience
