This position is open at G.H. Dawe School, starting as soon as a suitable candidate is found, until June 30, 2027. You will provide valuable support to students, particularly those with complex needs. Preferred qualifications include an Educational Assistant Certificate or Social Work diploma, alongside relevant experience or education in childhood development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Pre-Kindergarten and Elementary students in learning
• Support children with complex needs and behaviours




• Work independently with minimal guidance
• Utilize good problem-solving skills for challenges
• Perform toileting and lifting tasks as necessary

Requirements:
• Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable education
• Experience working with children preferred
• Independent worker capable of handling challenges
• Robust problem-solving capabilities
• Current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check required
