Reporting to the Manager of Tailings & Water, this senior role demands a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in Canada and a strong background in civil or mining engineering. You will develop dam designs, oversee construction, and engage with external stakeholders, taking the lead in maintaining operational and capital budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and continuously improve tailings management strategies
• Coordinate dam raise designs and evaluate performance
• Manage construction schedules for tailings and waste deposition




• Lead routine inspections and instrumentation monitoring
• Support permitting and compliance with international standards

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or mining engineering
• 7-10 years of experience in a senior engineering role
• Proficient in engineering software and geosynthetics
• Solid project management and communication skills
• Eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC
