Your Prospect:

Board & Governance Support: Prepare and distribute Board and committee meeting agendas, minutes, and materials.

Communications & Marketing: Develop and maintain promotional materials, donor communications, reports, brochures, presentations, and other Foundation resources.

Financial & Compliance Coordination: Perform bank deposits and maintain related documentation.

Description
The Foundation Coordinator provides administrative, operational, governance, fundraising, communications, and financial coordination support to the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation and its Board. This role supports the effective delivery of Foundation activities by coordinating Board operations, fundraising initiatives, donor stewardship, communications, and financial administration while ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements. Working closely with Board members, hospital/site leadership, donors, and community stakeholders, the Foundation Coordinator manages day-to-day Foundation operations, maintains key records and communications, supports community engagement and fundraising efforts, and contributes to the achievement of the Foundation’s strategic and fundraising goals.

Board & Governance Support. This position is non-unionized.

Required Qualifications
Post-secondary diploma in business administration, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in an administrative, program support, or nonprofit environment.

Additional Required Qualifications
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Experience supporting meetings and preparing professional documentation (agendas, minutes, reports). Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and web/content tools. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with boards, volunteers, and donors. Basic financial coordination skills (data entry, tracking, working with accountants).

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a healthcare foundation or nonprofit organization. Knowledge of fundraising practices and donor stewardship. Experience with website content management systems and social media platforms. Familiarity with charity compliance and reporting requirements.
