As a Casual Licensed Practical Nurse at Radius, you will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary health care team. This position requires you to work independently while collaborating to provide comprehensive care. Key skills involve assessment, medication management, and effective client advocacy tailored for marginalized populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform patient assessments and triage efficiently
• Deliver wound and foot care services
• Manage immunizations and medication administration
• Facilitate care coordination with medical providers
• Provide health education to clients and their families
Requirements:
• Must hold a valid CLPNA registration and CPR certificate
• Completed vulnerable sector and criminal record checks
• Experience with marginalized communities preferred
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles
• Ability to utilize solid communication skills effectively
