As part of the Vancouver Island Health Authority, this role focuses on working collaboratively with a team to provide valuable support to youth aged 13-35. Your insights, gained through lived experience, will enable you to assist those who are undergoing their first episodes of psychosis. Flexibility for travel is required, alongside a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for client care
• Provide direct support to youth in crisis
• Facilitate educational programs tailored to client needs
• Ensure effective communication and documentation of services
• Utilize electronic systems for client management
Requirements:
• Previous engagement with mental health or substance use services
• Relevant training in peer support or mental health
• BC Class 5 Driver's License required
• Completion of high school
• Solid independent working skills
