Under the supervision of the Daycare Operator, the Cook focuses on food preparation in alignment with Canada’s food guide for young children. This casual role includes inventory management, meal prep for special events, and kitchen cleanliness while providing relief for Child Care Workers when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare meals according to Canada's food guide
• Manage inventory of food supplies and assist with events
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area
• Provide relief support to Child Care Workers as necessary
• Ensure offerings include traditional food preparation

Requirements:
• Certificate from a Commercial Cooking Program or equivalent
• Ability to prepare traditional foods for children
• Valid First Aid & CPR certification
• Bilingual in Inuktitut and English is an asset
• Casual position with 4% vacation pay benefit
