Join Central City Lodge as a Nursing Unit Assistant for resident care. This temporary full-time role emphasizes personal support, safety procedures, and effective communication every shift.

In this pivotal role, you will report to the Director of Care while performing essential nursing duties. You’ll engage in resident care, including bathing and meal assistance, and support rehabilitation through exercise. Working effectively under supervision, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe workplace and organizing your workload.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care like bathing and grooming
• Serve and collect meal trays for residents
• Assist in resident transfers using proper techniques




• Monitor resident health metrics and report changes
• Maintain a clean and organized care environment

Requirements:
• Grade 10 completion and nursing assistant training
• Registration with the BC Care Aide and Health Worker Registry
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Physical capability to perform role duties
• Ability to organize and manage care tasks
