This position is focused on empowering students by assisting them, particularly those with special needs, in a vibrant K–12 setting. As an Educational Assistant, you'll collaborate closely with teachers and families to foster student growth. Candidates must have a background in working with children, especially in First Nations communities, to thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students with special needs and daily activities
• Support teachers in executing curriculum effectively
• Facilitate the use of assistive technology tools




• Engage with families to support student learning
• Participate in creating an inclusive and welcoming school workplace

Requirements:
• Must hold a Grade 12 or equivalent education
• Experience working with youth is mandatory
• Background in special education considered an asset
• Knowledge of Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in culture preferred
• Security clearance and ability to complete First Aid training required
