In this role, you will work closely with classroom teachers and the Learning Resource Teacher to tailor support strategies for students facing learning and behavioral challenges. A secondary school diploma and relevant college education are required to undergird your ability to improve student interactions and outcomes. Your responsibilities will include implementing IEPs and managing therapeutic programs collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in developing individualized learning plans
• Implement behavior management strategies in classrooms
• Maintain and document medication records as necessary
• Aid students with personal care and physical needs
• Liaise with parents and educational staff regarding progress
Requirements:
• Required secondary school diploma and college diploma
• Understanding of behavior management and special needs education
• Strong organizational skills to track student progress
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficient in relevant educational technologies
