Contribute to student growth with Waterloo Region District School Board as a Before and After School Support employee. Work with young learners and assist in creating play-based environments for ages 4-12.

The role involves working closely with a Designated Early Childhood Educator to foster positive interactions among students, parents, and staff. Candidates will support student exploration, play, and social interaction in inclusive settings while ensuring health and safety protocols are followed. Engage in meaningful communication with families to promote a thriving learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in supervising students during play and activities
• Encourage positive peer interactions among children
• Support play-based learning experiences and inquiry




• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's experiences
• Uphold safety and wellness through guidelines and procedures

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Experience in child supervision and support roles
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C/AED
• Criminal Background Check including Vulnerable Sector
• Commitment to an inclusive and supportive learning setting
