Assignment:

Part-time 0.51 FTE probationary teaching position
Instructing in a combined grade 5/6 classroom
Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year

Qualifications:

Knowledge and Experience teaching Division 2 students would be considered an asset
Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and differentiated learning experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to support diverse learners and differentiate instruction to meet a variety of student needs
Commitment to collaboration and building positive relationships with students, families, administration and colleagues
Commitment to student social and academic growth
Background and/or experience in Literacy and Numeracy Intervention would be considered an asset




Passion for education and a commitment to ongoing student success
Ability to differentiate instructional strategies to effectively meet a wide range of individual needs and abilities
Willingness to work in a team-orientated environment
Assessment literate
Strong planning and organizational skills
Effective classroom management that facilitates a protected, caring, and inclusive environment for all students
Commitment to ongoingprofessional growth
