Location: Saskatoon, SK (This role is 100% site based, flying in and out on fixed rotation schedule.)
This role isn't for a typical "IT analyst." By requiring a trade or engineering background, you are ensuring the candidate understands that a typo in a Measuring Point or a missing BOM entry results in actual downtime and lost revenue at the site level.
Engineering Degree: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering is ideal. These disciplines provide the foundational knowledge of how asset hierarchies (Functional Locations) and technical specifications (Equipment Master) should be structured.
Trade Certification (Journeyman): For candidates without a degree, a Journeyman Ticket in a relevant trade (e.g., Millwright, Heavy Duty Mechanic, or Electrician) is a solid alternative. Their "wrench-on-metal" experience ensures the Master Data they create is practical for field technicians
