In this full time, unionized role, you will assist individuals in various areas of their daily lives, including cooking, household management, and social engagement. The FSJACL prides itself on providing premium support services and fostering inclusion since 1960. You'll receive comprehensive training in essential skills to effectively assist your clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients in cooking and meal preparation
• Support laundry and home organization tasks
• Help with basic yardwork and home maintenance
• Provide medication reminders and life skills building
• Encourage community participation through advocacy and support
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 Drivers license with 3 years driving experience
• Class 4 Driver’s license to be secured in the trial period
• Training in lifting, transferring, and crisis intervention required
• Experience in medication administration
• Commitment to support individual needs and abilities
