SD42 is actively searching for French and French Immersion educators who are dedicated to student growth and learning. The district, serving 17,000 students, values inclusion and educational diversity. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in teaching French, both orally and in writing, to inspire students across K-12 education.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach French Immersion classes to engaged learners
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom setting
• Collaborate with other educators and staff for enriched instruction




• Commit to a minimum of 90 teaching shifts annually
• Adapt lessons to meet curricular and student needs

Requirements:
• Training and experience in French Immersion education
• Fluent oral and written communication skills in French
• BC Teaching Certificate required for eligibility
• Relevant educational degree and coursework
• Membership in Teacher Regulation Branch is a plus
