Phoenix Digital Health

Toronto

Founded in 2019, Phoenix is building the most trusted telehealth platform in Canada, making specialist healthcare accessible to every Canadian, wherever they are. Our platform breaks down barriers to care, empowering patients to take control of their health with personalized treatment options and the guidance of licensed providers.

If you thrive where big ideas turn into real impact, you'll fit right in here. We're a team of creative problem-solvers who move deliberately and collaborate in person, because we think the best work happens that way. At Phoenix, you'll find autonomy over your work, people who care about each other's success, and a mission that's making healthcare better for Canadians.

Role Summary
We are a telehealth company connecting patients with licensed providers through a secure, asynchronous online platform. We are hiring a Nurse Practitioner to review patient submissions, assess treatment candidacy, and issue prescriptions where clinically appropriate — all without live video or phone appointments.

About the Platform
Patients complete a guided intake form covering their medical history. You will review each submission, typically in under five minutes, and determine next steps: approve treatment, request more information, or decline. All communication with patients happens through secure in-platform messaging.

Conditions Currently Supported
- Weight loss
- Sexual performance (erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation)
- Hair restoration
- Hormone therapy (testosterone)

What to Expect
- No live appointments. All patient interactions are asynchronous — no scheduled calls or video visits.
- No insurance billing. Patients pay directly,

so there's no insurance paperwork or claims processing.
- Malpractice coverage. Your existing CMPA or equivalent coverage applies, no additional coverage required.
- In-person collaboration. While clinical work is remote, the team works on-site together for planning, feedback, and problem-solving.

Compensation
- Compensation is benchmarked against current market data.

Responsibilities
- Review patient-submitted medical histories and determine candidacy for treatment
- Issue prescriptions when appropriate, or follow up with patients directly for additional information
- Communicate with patients through secure messaging as needed
- Collaborate with Clinical and Product teams to refine workflows
- Flag friction points in the patient or provider experience and work with Customer Experience, Product, and Engineering to address them
- Provide clinical input on new conditions, protocols, and product launches as the platform expands

Qualifications
- Bilingual in French and English
- Registered with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ), with eligibility for licensure in additional Canadian provinces (support available for the licensing process if needed)
- Comfortable working within a digital care platform
- Strong written communicator with able to work efficiently in a quick-paced, async environment
- Responsive and empathetic in patient interactions
- Interested in cross-functional work with non-clinical teams
- Experience in men's health is a plus but not required

- There are 3 available positions
- We require a professional working proficiency of French and English
