Intero Integrity Services provides inspection, industrial, and environmental services that help operators maintain the safety, reliability, and performance of critical infrastructure worldwide. Using advanced sensing technologies, robotics, and data-driven inspection methods, Intero supports clients throughout the lifecycle of their assets.

The Toronto Technology Center focuses on the development of robotic inspection systems designed to operate in challenging pipeline environments where conventional inspection tools cannot be used. Multidisciplinary teams work closely together to design, build, test, and refine these systems in-house.

About the Role
The Electrical Engineering Team Lead supports the coordination and technical direction of the Electrical Engineering team within the Technology Center. This role combines hands‑on technical oversight with supporting engineers in their day‑to‑day work so projects move forward effectively and consistently.

The Team Lead works closely with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to maintain strong engineering quality, ensure processes are followed, and support an environment where team members can do their best work and continue developing their skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day activities within the Electrical Engineering team

Support engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and removing obstacles to progress

Help maintain awareness of team workload, priorities, and support needs

Review schematics, PCB layouts, and electrical documentation

Help ensure engineering processes and release practices are followed

Support feasibility assessments and technical decision‑making

Contribute to testing programs and evaluation of results

Collaborate with project managers to track progress and priorities

Support onboarding, knowledge sharing, and development of team members

Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering workflows and standards

Qualifications
Required

University degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

Minimum 5 years of hands‑on electrical engineering experience

Minimum 2 years of technical leadership or supervisory experience

Strong schematic and PCB design experience

Experience with Altium Designer

Strong communication and coordination skills

Preferred

Experience working in applied R&D; or product development environments

Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams
