Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager /Project Leader to lead the planning, governance, reporting, and deliverysupport activities for a large-scale public sector technology program. Thesuccessful candidate will provide strategic leadership, executive-levelreporting, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-projectcoordination to support successful program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage,oversee, track, and update large, complex projects, including schedules,risks, dependencies, and deliverables.

Leadexecutive governance, reporting, and decision-support activities.

Developexecutive project status briefings and present updates to seniorleadership.

Coordinateintegrated project reporting across multiple project teams andstakeholders.

Developdetailed project plans identifying resource, timeline, and budgetrequirements.

Managethe monthly governance cycle, including information collection, analysis,review, and presentation materials.

Synthesizeproject status, progress updates, and strategic recommendations forexecutive stakeholders.

Managedeliverables and dependencies across multiple active projects.

Identify,communicate, and manage project risks and issues while recommendingmitigation strategies.

Buildstrong working relationships with project teams, leadership, andstakeholders.

Developdashboards, reports, executive briefing materials, and governancecommittee presentations.

Supportproject implementation planning, monitoring, and reporting activities.

Developfinancial management materials and project-related communications asrequired.

Coordinategovernance committee materials, meetings, attendance, and relateddocumentation.

Presentupdates, recommendations, and risk mitigation strategies to variousgovernance and executive committees.

Qualifications

Required Experience





Minimum5 years of experience in a senior leadership role managing large-scale,multi-year, complex technology projects.

Minimum5 years of experience in project/program management within a government orpublic sector setting.

Demonstratedexpertise across all phases of project management, including initiation,planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.

Experienceworking with senior government executives and decision-makers.

Experienceleading executive governance cycles and the development of executivebriefing materials.

Experiencemanaging complex project interdependencies, risks, and stakeholderrelationships.

Provenability to develop strategic project plans, recommendations, and optionsanalyses.

Experienceintegrating vendor commitments and tracking contractual deliverables.

Experiencemaintaining project management artefacts such as plans, reports, briefingnotes, meeting minutes, and change requests.

Communication & Relationship Management

Exceptionalwritten and verbal communication skills.

Strongexecutive presentation and briefing development experience.

Abilityto translate complex technical information into clear business language.

Provenrelationship management, facilitation, consultation, and stakeholderengagement skills.

Experienceproviding strategic advice on complex and high-profile initiatives.

Abilityto communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including seniorexecutives.

Program Management Skills

Stronggovernance and executive reporting experience.

Expertisein strategic planning and coordination across multiple projects and teams.

Additional Requirements

Successfulcompletion of applicable security clearance requirements may be required.

Experienceworking within large public sector organizations is highly preferred.
