Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister, the Executive Director manages the Accessibility Office, supporting the Minister of Families. Candidates should possess strong skills in compliance enforcement, strategic performance management, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Manitoba Accessibility Office program delivery
• Lead compliance enforcement under The Accessibility for Manitobans Act
• Manage the Manitoba Accessibility Fund and grant distributions
• Support the Accessibility Advisory Council’s mandate and activities
• Foster collaborative relationships with various stakeholders
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience
• Proven leadership and management skills in diverse environments
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Experience with strategic planning and performance measurement
