You will be working on a Hybrid office schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.
Current Work Authorization is required for all openings.
The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the recent Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.

Your Opportunity
The Estates team manages all aspects of Fidelity Clearing Canada responsibilities relevant to estate management. The team is focused on building a culture that marries a focus on compliance, best practices, and risk mitigation with meeting client needs timely and accurately, providing alternatives where applicable. What You Will Do
Administration of estate cases
As the Estates Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration of estate cases for our clients. These will vary from managing the initial notification of death, to partial/total estate disbursements, and estate residuals. To ensure accurate processing, appropriate documents need to be requested and reviewed for completeness. Follow up may be required on incomplete documentation, and appropriate alternatives may need to be suggested if required documentation is not available. The estates matrix, policy/procedures and best practices need to be consistently followed.
Customer Service & Collaboration
Be a role model for delivering excellent quality customer service interactions to our internal and external customers.
Exceed their expectations and create a positive experience. Take ownership of the estate case and collaborate with other departments as needed for each piece of the case. Responsible for timely escalations and provide support to estates related initiatives.
Tax related and other topics
Assist with the creation and delivery of estate tax slips. The role also provides backup for estate areas as needed. The role will also get involved with documentation review/update, projects and other tasks as assigned.
Continuous improvement
Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements and work with team and leaders to implement them. Research and investigate inquiries and issues that are outside of the norm and bring potential solutions to the table.
What We Are Looking For
2 - 3 years of experience in operations or customer service processing, ideally in an estates group
Work within the financial industry, an asset
Post Secondary Education, or equivalent experience
Estate & Trust Administration course, an asset
Bilingual, an asset
Skills & Knowledge
Accurate and detail oriented
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of estates and related legislation, an asset
Knowledge of Broadridge's Dataphile platform, an asset

This contract role offers a flexible, hourly compensation model that reflects your expertise and the value you bring. The hourly rate ranges from $28.00 to $40.00 , based on experience and qualifications.
