As a GIS Intern, your work will directly contribute to the sustainability practices of Sebastian Farms, a family-owned vineyard committed to quality grape production. You will conduct field surveys, manage spatial data, and collaborate with various teams to enhance vineyard operations across the Okanagan region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct field-based GNSS data collection
• Validate and clean spatial datasets for accuracy
• Maintain and document structured field notes
• Support internal communication through map production
• Assist in onboarding and training with GIS teams
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a GIS or environmental science program
• Knowledge of ArcGIS and spatial analysis concepts
• License for outdoor operations in various weather
• Personal transport for fieldwork
• Comfortable learning to operate an ATV
