Pay or shift range: $32 CAD to $40 CAD

Description
The successful candidate will be able to support the installation of machinery as required, including assembly, set-up, and machine operation to verify functioning, machine capability and conformance to customer’s specifications. In addition, assisting with assembly and programming of machines in the shop.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Proactively complete maintenance work which includes electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and general repair and maintenance of all equipment to maintain quality and production levels

Troubleshoot equipment and miscellaneous downtime issues

Perform preventative maintenance of equipment within manufacturers' specifications

Read and interpret various textbooks, service manuals, and bulletins related to the performance of work

Qualifications





Ability to perform and instruct in the operation, repair, rebuild and dismantle of all types of equipment and tools without supervision

Experience working with bearings, belt driven systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, pumps, etc

Stamping press repair, automation repair, maintenance of industrial equipment, preventative/predictive maintenance skills required

Ability to operate any and all equipment required to complete job functions, including tool room equipment

Must have extensive knowledge of air and hydraulic systems, air compressors and proportional valve repairs.

Must possess robust analytical skills and the ability to implement hands on corrective action
