This full time, on-site role involves setting up and operating CNC machines for medium to large components. You will read and interpret technical drawings, select tools, and carry out machining operations while closely monitoring dimensions. You will also inspect parts using precision measuring instruments, collaborating with the production team to optimize processes and resolve any machining challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines for precision work
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform machining operations while monitoring dimensions tightly
• Inspect produced parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Collaborate with production to troubleshoot and optimize workflows
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Machinist certification or equivalent experience
• Strong skills in CNC and conventional machining processes
• Proficient in reading technical blueprints and drawings
• Experienced with Mastercam and tight tolerance machining
