At APEL Extrusions, an independent aluminum extruder based in Calgary, we seek a dedicated Environmental, Health & Safety Manager. This essential role requires someone with 5-10 years of progressive EHS leadership in manufacturing. You will develop and implement programs to enhance safety culture, ensure compliance, and promote sustainability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and improve HSE programs across the workplace
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
• Chair the Joint Health & Safety Committee and lead investigations




• Oversee environmental initiatives and waste management
• Develop and deliver EHS training to enhance safety performance

Requirements:
• Minimum of 5-10 years EHS experience in manufacturing
• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety
• CRSP designation considered an asset
• Solid knowledge of Alberta safety and environmental regulations
• Proficient in EHS reporting systems and Microsoft Office
