The Fitter will work under the Team Leader and require significant experience, ideally five years, in fitting structural steel. This role includes fabricating, assembling, and ensuring the high quality of steel products. You will also have responsibilities for mentoring and instilling best safety practices among junior fitters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate and fit structural steel components
• Operate various equipment such as torches and drills
• Conduct daily crane checks and material handling
• Interpret blueprints and layout reference points
• Ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements:
• 5+ years of structural fitting/fabrication experience
• Capability to read blueprints and measurements
• Current CWB certification for FCAW or MCAW
• Solid team collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
