As an Occupational Therapist in this agile role, you will work closely with the Manager of Adult Services to provide assessment and therapeutic care. Your responsibilities will encompass developing treatment plans and fostering connections with community resources, aimed at enhancing clients' daily functioning and roles. This is a vital role in delivering effective psychosocial support that encourages recovery and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate clients during intake sessions
• Develop and facilitate therapy groups
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate effectively with families and support systems
• Promote client engagement in education and job opportunities
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Active COTO registration in good standing
• 2+ years of mental health service provision experience
• Experience in community-focused therapeutic settings
• Ability to work independently and manage caseloads
Deliver impactful therapy and promote recovery within the community at SHN.
