Campbell River Marine Terminal is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic for their team in Menzies Bay. In this full-time, permanent position, you will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of machinery, including forklifts and tugboats. Your skills will ensure that essential services for the tug and barge community are maintained effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and diagnose issues on marine and land equipment
• Perform overhauls and repairs on forklifts and tugboats
• Collaborate with team members in a industrial environment




• Adhere to safety protocols and professional conduct
• Participate in emergency repair situations as required

Requirements:
• Heavy Duty Mechanic Certificate or equivalent experience
• Valid Driver's License and Forklift Certification
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic
• Physical fitness to handle diverse repair tasks
• Willingness to commute or relocate to Campbell River
