Waiward Construction Management Inc. is seeking skilled Topmen to assist our water and sewer construction crews. This role focuses on field layout, elevation shooting, and supporting excavation and pipe installation teams. Your attention to detail and efficiency will ensure projects meet high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Use surveying equipment for elevations and grade control
• Interpret geodetic survey data for accurate installations
• Assist with pipe cutting and beveling as needed
• Support excavation and pipe placement with ditch crews
• Maintain communication with supervisors for workflow efficiency
Requirements:
• Experience with transit or surveying tools
• Knowledge of geodetic measurements
• Background in water and sewer pipe installation is a plus
• Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor conditions
