With responsibilities at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital and Huntsville District Memorial Hospital, this role values experienced nursing professionals who excel in labor, delivery, and postpartum care. Experience in acute medical/surgical nursing is vital, along with certifications such as IV, BLS, and NRP.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient-centered obstetrical care across both hospital sites
• Manage labor and delivery processes in low-risk settings
• Assist in postpartum care for recent mothers




• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
• Participate in continuous professional development and training

Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum of 2 years acute medical/surgical nursing experience
• 1-2 years labor and delivery experience preferred
• IV Certification, current BLS, and NRP required
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and nights
