Join LMI Technologies as a Manufacturing Systems Designer II, focusing on optimizing manufacturing processes in a hybrid work environment. Collaborate with R&D; to enhance product yield and cost-effectiveness.
In this vital role, you'll report to the Engineering Manager and engage directly with both R&D; and manufacturing teams. Responsibilities include leading new component releases, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and managing engineering change requests. Use your electrical design experience to improve manufacturing processes and ensure quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address production issues using 8D methodology
• Manage problem reports and troubleshoot electrical hardware
• Design and maintain PCBA test equipment
• Lead production transfers and EMS supplier support
• Collaborate on new product introduction projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering
• Over 5 years in high-tech manufacturing environments
• Expertise in PCB/PCBA processes and design
• Robust knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles
• Excellent communicator and team leader
