Business Unit: Market Risk & Counterparty Analytics
Role Overview The Risk Analyst III will sit within Collateral Management and focus on the effective mitigation of counterparty credit risk , supporting the securities lending business across bonds and equities .
The role requires someone with strong capital markets/collateral management experience , a solid fixed income background , strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to work closely with internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities Monitor client portfolios daily and issue/receive collateral calls to mitigate counterparty credit risk.
Accurately enter margin tickets into the collateral management system.
Interact extensively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Conduct process reviews in accordance with the Global Short-term Markets Policy .
Resolve and elevate collateral-related issues.
Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements.
Support proactive risk management by monitoring capital-market risk issues and assessing impacts on exposures.




Identify opportunities for process reengineering to improve operational efficiency and reduce operational risk.
Perform control functions to ensure process integrity.
Collaborate with Credit, Middle Office, Legal, Front Office, Settlements, and Corporate Treasury .
Must-Have Skills 5+ years of capital markets experience or relevant collateral management experience .
Strong Fixed Income background.
General data analysis/reconciliation
Soft Skills Self-starter with strong initiative.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
Nice-to-Have CFA
FRM
Education Post-secondary education required.
Team size: 6
Training: onboarding plus formal role-specific training of approximately 1-1.5 months .
Interaction: Both internal and external stakeholders .
