Exciting role available for a CNC Boring Mill Technician at Collins Aerospace in Oakville, Ontario. This role involves producing aircraft components and requires strong attention to detail.
You will work on the weekend night shift and report directly to the Machine Shop Supervisor. Your tasks will focus on setting up and operating CNC machinery, maintaining tolerances, and documenting your operations for quality assurance. Your role is vital for supporting ongoing development and continuous improvement within the shop.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Boring Mill machines to produce parts
• Carry out manual setups using CNC programming techniques
• Ensure quality through self-verification and documentation
• Contribute to standard work and 5S initiatives
• Undertake additional machine shop duties as required
Requirements:
• 3 years experience in Boring Mill machining
• High school diploma mandatory
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
• Compliance with ITAR for working in Canada
• 5 Axis Machining experience is a plus
