Valard Construction is searching for an experienced Equipment Operator to support our Distribution group. You will operate essential machinery, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and contribute to effective ground disturbance planning. Your expertise in soil mechanics will also be crucial when collaborating with geotechnical engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate trackhoe and backhoe safely and efficiently
• Understand soil mechanics for density testing activities




• Ensure proper rigging for material lifting tasks
• Complete daily inspections on equipment
• Attend daily safety meetings and hazard assessments

Requirements:
• 3 years of experience operating trackhoe and backhoe
• Ground Disturbance Level 2 certification
• Valid Class-5 driver's license with a secure driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors
• Flexibility for varying work hours
