We are seeking a temporary full-time Early Literacy Intervention Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is integral to providing specialized support to students with diverse literacy needs. Candidates should have relevant training and experience in literacy interventions, including knowledge of comprehensive assessments and teaching strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement individualized early literacy programs for students
• Analyze and summarize data from literacy assessments
• Collaborate with colleagues for instructional planning
• Conduct lessons for peer teachers during in-service sessions
• Foster students' oral language, reading, and writing skills
Requirements:
• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate
• Specialized early literacy intervention training
• Strong communication and organizational skills
