SAIT is seeking an Educational Laboratory Technologist II to support its Welding Apprenticeship and other departments. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong organizational skills. You'll maintain and repair equipment while monitoring inventory levels and providing technical support to instructors in a collaborative workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair welding lab equipment to OEM standards
• Control and track inventory of lab consumables and tools
• Prepare demonstration equipment for instructors
• Provide technical support to welding program
• Adhere to safety standards and guidelines

Requirements:
• High School Grade 11 minimum; Grade 12 preferred
• Journeyperson certification in welding or related trade
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Class 5 license required
• Ability to lift 20 kilograms safely
