Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Involvement with work related to engagement assignments, including review and compilation, as well as personal and corporate tax returns

Review of working paper files, financial statements, and tax returns prepared by other staff

Preparation and completion of complex working paper files, financial statements, and tax returns for compilation, review, and audit engagements in accordance with firm and regulatory standards

Assisting clients with compliance filings and responding to CRA‑related queries and inquiries on government programs

Supporting clients with day‑to‑day business queries

Assisting in the training and mentorship of junior staff

Qualifications & other Experience

CPA with designation is required

Minimum of 5-7 years post‑designation experience in public accounting

Proficiency with public accounting software such as CaseWare and Taxprep

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Excellent communication skills

Robust knowledge of government taxes

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

Expected Compensation Range

$80,000 – $120,000 annually

Compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. In certain situations,



a candidate’s unique background or specialized expertise may warrant consideration slightly outside the posted range.
