Elevate physical performance as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) in Ontario. This in office role focuses on evidence-informed programming and coaching tailored for CANSOFCOM members.
As a Strength and Conditioning Coach, you will work alongside an interdisciplinary team, delivering specialized training and support for elite personnel. This role emphasizes physical fitness evaluation, implementation of conditioning programs, and client education, all geared towards optimizing readiness and recovery from injuries. You'll utilize advanced tools and professional development opportunities to provide high-performance solutions for troops at home and abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop individual and group strength conditioning programs
• Conduct physical fitness evaluations and adaptability assessments
• Lead fitness education workshops and training sessions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to enhance services
• Monitor performance and adjust programs as necessary
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Human Kinetics or related field
• NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
• CSEP Certified Exercise Physiologist
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Bilingual (English and French) essential
