Join Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools as a Mental Health Capacity Building Coach, supporting staff and families with wellness initiatives. This full time role promotes mental health through engaging programming and community involvement.

You will be instrumental in developing educational programming catering to the mental health needs of children and youth. Connecting schools with addiction and mental health resources, you will enhance the competence of staff and parents alike. The position involves working 35-40 hours weekly with the flexibility of varied scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and present mental health classroom sessions
• Work closely with school staff and community members
• Foster relationships with mental health experts




• Organize healthy community activities and events
• Ensure documentation compliance with HIA and FOIP

Requirements:
• Registration with ACSW or CAP is essential
• Group experience with children and youth is required
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in social sciences preferred
• Familiarity with mental health and addiction is beneficial
• Strong skills in public speaking and relationship building
