Become a key player at the State Hospital as an Enhanced Psychological Therapist. This permanent position involves providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to patients with complex mental health needs.

The Department is seeking a Band 6 Psychological Therapist to contribute to a multidisciplinary team offering high secure care in Scotland. You will deliver psychological assessments and interventions, managing your own caseload and supporting both individual and group therapy. The role emphasizes collaboration in care planning and ongoing service evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychological assessments for complex patient cases
• Deliver Cognitive Behavioural Therapy interventions
• Manage individual caseload from admission to discharge




• Collaborate in multidisciplinary team care planning
• Support service evaluation and continuous improvement activities

Requirements:
• Registration as a mental health professional (NMC, HCPC, BABCP)
• Degree in a relevant discipline and PG Certificate in CBT
• Experience with diverse mental health conditions
• Ability to work within clinical frameworks and supervision arrangements
• Solid commitment to professional development
