You are responsible for delivering programs and services to meet the needs of fellow citizens. Providing excellence in service is demonstrated through your interactions with clients on the phone, in‑person, and online, while delivering service within expected standards.Primary AccountabilitiesOpening mail and processing requests through tracking system.Processing requests received accurately and within service standards to ensure client expectations are consistently met.Communicating accurate information in a timely manner to clients and within the team on the phone, online, and in person.Preparation of daily cash reports.Balancing daily transactions received and processed for self, peers and team.Participating in training and team meetings related to and supporting the position, division, department,



and government.Assisting with user acceptance testing.Qualifications And ExperienceMinimum four years of customer service experience in a fast‑paced environment. Flexibility and adaptability with the ability to adjust tasks throughout the day, including answering phones, serving clients in person, and replying to emails.Strong customer service and communication skills (written and spoken). Ability to make decisions based on the interpretation and administration of policies, guidelines, and legislation. Good judgment is required.Technical skills: experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Outlook). Knowledge of Amanda, RegSys, NSIFTA, SMP, or WRS is an asset, as is knowledge of additional languages.Assessment will include written examinations, standardized tests, oral presentations, interview(s), and reference checks.BenefitsBased on status and union agreement, benefits include a Defined Benefit Pension Plan, Health, Dental, Life Insurance, General illness, Short and Long Term Disability, Vacation and Employee and Family Assistance Programs.
