every day.What makes you a great fit?Maintains resident records and required documentation in accordance with policies and procedures and legislative requirementsMust be able to perform medication assistance and care tasks, including: BP monitoring, catheter care, assistance with ROM, mobility/movement exercises, medication assistance/administration including eye drops, eye ointments, inhalers, nebulizers, PRN medication, insulin injections, transdermal medication patch, inserting rectal suppository, application of topical ointments as delegated or when part of routine assistance of daily livingMonitors resident well‑being in accordance with the policy of the residencePerforms other related duties as required to support common area cleaning, laundry and resident care assignmentsCompletes all aspects of resident care as outlined in the personal service planAnswers all resident call bells and door alarms promptly and provides courteous servicePerforms other duties as assignedWhat you need to know:Registered with the BC Care Aide RegistrySuccessful completion of Care Aid certificate programMedication Certification is requiredExperience with medication assistanceCurrent First Aid/CPR trainingExcellent command of the verbal and written English language skillsAbility to work independently and/or as a member of a teamAll applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Criminal Records CheckYou must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permitSienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this positionSienna Senior Living is committed to employment equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
