OverviewJoin PATH Developments (formerly PCRE) and be part of a trusted and growing team shaping impactful projects and communities.Base pay range: CA$80,000.00/yr - CA$95,000.00/yr. PATH Developments has a 20-year history of development across Western Canada and Washington state and has delivered over 12,000 residential units, along with several commercial, industrial and office projects. PATH is expanding its operations and actively acquiring new sites. PATH values excellence, trust, loyalty, and opportunities for growth within the company.ResponsibilitiesHandle full cycle accounting for several projectsAssist in the preparation and coordination of quarterly investor reporting packagesPrepare monthly updates to proforma forecastsCoordinate monthly budget reviews by updating actuals and working with development and construction managers to update, document follow-up and action itemsMonitor project cash requirements and act as the point of contact for project capital calls, distributions, loan draws, and repaymentsDocument, monitor, and liaise with interdepartmental teams regarding project milestones (LC tracking and release, warranty periods, deposits, prepaids)Implement and manage internal controls, business processes, and procedures for project accountingCollaborate cross-functionally with finance, marketing, construction, and development teams to ensure timely completion of interdepartmental tasks (job cost tracking,
equity and bank financing, budget approvals)Support senior management in annual budgeting and quarterly reporting; assist with special projects and ad hoc requestsInvolvement in transaction support, research on accounting and tax issues, and mentoring junior staffWhat Sets You Apart / QualificationsCPA designation and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalentMinimum of three years of accounting experienceAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Sage Intacct is a strong assetExcellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across teamsStrong task prioritization, ability to manage competing deadlines, and high attention to detailGrowth mindset and proactive development; comfortable growing with the companyWhat You Can ExpectPATH offers professional development opportunities, mentorship, leadership potential, and a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
