Responsibilities

Supports labour relations activities for a unionized manufacturing environment

Maintain positive relations and good communications with leaders of all union

Provide interpretation and application of collective agreements

Administer labour relations including dispute resolution, grievance resolution and arbitration process.

Lead and oversee HR operations, ensuring alignment with company policies and legislative requirements

Manage the full onboarding and off boarding cycle, ensuring a smooth and positive employee experience

Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, resolving issues promptly and professionally

Support and guide leadership in performance management processes

Develop, enhance, and deliver internal training programs aligned with organizational goals

Prepare HR reports for government compliance and internal management needs

Qualifications:





Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Certified Human Resources Professional certification (CHRP).Experience

5-7 years Human Resources experience in a manufacturing workplace desired.

5-7 years leadership experience leading teams

Experience working in a unionized setting required. Union and Labor Relations experience required, no exceptions!

Demonstrated experience leading labour relations, grievance handling,

Experience providing HR leadership and coaching to managers and HR team members.

Proficiency with HRIS

Strong analytical skills for workforce planning, budgeting, and reporting.

Ability to work and achieve results in a fast-paced, results driven environment
