Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust data integration solutions. The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in Informatica, PL/SQL, cloud technologies, data warehousing, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and migration initiatives. This role involves collaborating with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions and system integrations in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, support, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica Cloud (IDMC).

Migrate Informatica PowerCenter ETL code, including embedded SQL and PL/SQL developed on Oracle platforms.

Test migrated SQL and PL/SQL stored procedures.

Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and optimization.

Conduct root cause analysis and resolve ETL-related issues.

Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple data sources into enterprise data warehouses.

Develop and validate data pipelines based on technical specifications.

Collaborate with project teams during testing, debugging, and validation activities.

Produce technical documentation, deployment guides, and support materials.

Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery cycles.

Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and access control requirements.

Provide post-implementation support and knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications
Technical Skills

5+ years of ETL and data warehousing experience.

Robust experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud (IDMC).

Advanced PL/SQL and SQL development skills.

Experience with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.





Experience designing and supporting dimensional data models and star/snowflake schemas.

Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Experience with Python and Unix shell scripting.

Version control and DevOps experience using GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Jira.

Experience with ETL performance tuning, troubleshooting, recovery, and optimization.

Core Competencies

Software development lifecycle experience using Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.

Technical analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation experience.

Strong experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications and integrations.

Proven technical leadership and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience working within public sector environments.

Experience with inter-jurisdictional government projects and enterprise architecture practices.

Knowledge of accessibility standards and related regulations.

Work Arrangement

Candidate must work onsite three days per week in Toronto.
