Description

NOTE

Assignment Type : This position is listed as Onsite; the resource is expected to work 7.25 hours per calendar day between the standard working hours of 8:00-5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) every Monday to Friday inclusive at the identified Client office location.

Responsibilities:
Power BI / Business Intelligence Solution Development (representing 60% of time)

Design and develop Power BI semantic models,

Connect and integrate Databricks data sources,

Implement DAX measures and KPIs,

Build dashboards and reports,

Configure security and RLS,

Support testing and deployment, and provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer

Data architecture for ADDS Power BI solution (representing 40% of time)

Data Flow Diagrams

Conceptual/Logical/Physical Data Models

Databricks Lakehouse Design

Role model and security design, including Row-Level Security Design

Data Governance Framework

Performance & Capacity Plan

Environment and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline design

Non-Functional Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Public Sector Experience

3 years public sector/healthcare experience

Power BI & Business Intelligence Hands-on Development Skills

7+ years of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics experience.

5+ years of Power BI development experience.

Expert-level DAX, Power Query, and data modeling skills.

Advanced SQL and data warehouse development experience.





Ability to design enterprise semantic models and reporting architectures.

Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Experience mentoring developers and leading BI initiatives.

Business Analysis Skills

Robust experience of working with business team to identify and gather requirements for Business Intelligence enhancements or defect fix items

Experience in performing deep-dive data analysis to resolve data issues and answer questions from business

Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills

7+ years of experience in data architecture supporting BI/reporting solutions

Expert knowledge of dimensional modeling, star schemas and enterprise data warehouse design

Strong experience designing Power BI semantic models and enterprise reporting solutions

Robust experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Synapse and SQL Server

Experience implementing data governance, security and performance optimization strategies

Ability to translate business requirements into Power BI and scalable BI data architecture solutions

Assignment Type: Onsite - 5 days in the office
MUST HAVES:

5+ years of hands-on Power BI development

7+ years of data architecture experience with enterprise BI/reporting solutions

Expert-level DAX, Power Query and Power BI data modeling

Advanced SQL and dimensional/data warehouse modeling

Hands-on experience with Power BI Semantic Models and RLS

3+ years public sector/healthcare experience
