Join the Levine lab at the Krembil Brain Institute to investigate cell type influences on spinal cord population activity related to sensorimotor function. You will utilize advanced techniques such as optogenetics, high density electrical recordings, and computational analysis, contributing to innovative projects that shape the future of neuroscience. This role encourages mentorship and research collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop research projects with Dr. Levine and collaborators
• Design experiments and analyze data in wet labs




• Mentor students and engage in laboratory discussions
• Write grant applications for funding opportunities
• Present findings at conferences and in publications

Requirements:
• PhD obtained within the last 5 years
• Solid publication record including pre-prints
• Expertise in electrophysiology or computational neuroscience
• Experience in quantitative sensorimotor behavior analysis
• Proficient in mouse surgery techniques
