As a senior level Electrician, you will report to the Site Supervisor and be at the forefront of equipment maintenance and upgrades in substations ranging from 13.8kV to 500kV. Essential skills include installation, troubleshooting, and compliance with electrical codes. You will guide and mentor apprentices while ensuring safety procedures are followed meticulously.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain various high voltage electrical systems
• Operate construction equipment safely
• Lead electrical inspections and testing procedures
• Provide supervision and training for Electrical Apprentices
• Comply with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate
• Minimum 5 years of experience, 2 in substations
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code
• Class 5 Driver's License with positive record
• High-voltage work experience preferred
