Clarington is seeking a dedicated Supervisor to lead their Civil Design team. This role involves managing municipal projects, including roads, bridges, and storm sewers, ensuring effective staff development and project success. Solid technical skills in municipal design engineering and project management are key to enhancing the community’s infrastructure throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor team members in project assignments
• Manage and monitor the Capital Design Program effectively
• Review municipal infrastructure designs for projects
• Implement capital design initiatives with various stakeholders
• Prepare Council reports and public information materials
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three years in municipal design engineering
• Strong project management and asset management knowledge
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
• P.Eng. designation in good standing required
