Title and Summary
Manager, Product Innovation - Partnership Strategy and Enablement OverviewServices within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Mastercard Identity, within the Security Solutions organization, leads the development of products and services that enable global commerce, power financial inclusion, prevent crime, and make some of the most seamless experiences possible. This role within the team will be focused on the area of Agentic Trust. Agentic Trust is fundamentally a partnership-driven model, where our ability to define core capabilities and orchestrate the right ecosystem of partners (e.g., merchants, CDNs, acquirers, issuers, and KYC providers) is critical to success. Our hub-and-spoke approach requires not only identifying and onboarding the right partners but also actively managing a growing portfolio of Proof of Concepts (POCs) with speed and precision. As we move into execution, each POC demands clear documentation, structured onboarding, defined success criteria, and ongoing coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and momentum.

The Role:
Partner Engagement Management

Serve as the primary coordination point for strategic Agentic Trust partners.

Manage partner onboarding, engagement plans, and ongoing relationship tracking.

Coordinate partner priorities, requirements, and feedback loops.

POC (Proof of Concept) Leadership

Define, plan, and execute Agentic Trust proof-of-concept initiatives.

Establish success criteria, objectives, timelines, and deliverables for each POC.

Ensure technical,



product, and business stakeholders are aligned throughout execution.

POC Portfolio & Status Management

Maintain a centralized view of all active and planned POCs.

Track milestones, risks, dependencies, blockers, and outcomes.

Provide regular status reporting and executive-level updates.

Learning & Insight Capture

Document findings, lessons learned, and best practices from partner engagements and POCs.

Translate pilot outcomes into product requirements and roadmap recommendations.

Build repeatable playbooks for future deployments and partner integrations.

Operational Model Development

Establish and continuously improve the Agentic Trust partnership and innovation operating framework.

Create scalable processes for intake, governance, prioritization, execution, and reporting.

Define metrics and KPIs to measure program effectiveness and adoption readiness.

Market Adoption Readiness

Identify opportunities to transition successful POCs into broader commercialization efforts.

Partner with GTM teams to validate market demand, use cases, and customer value propositions.

Support reference architectures, customer stories, and adoption materials.

Risk & Dependency Management

Proactively identify technical, operational, partner, and regulatory risks.

Track and manage dependencies across internal and external stakeholders.

Escalate issues and drive mitigation plans to maintain program momentum.

Strategic Planning & Resource Management

Assess future resource needs to support Agentic Trust growth.

Prioritize investments across partnerships, pilots, and strategic initiatives.

Contribute to roadmap planning, budgeting, and organizational scaling decisions.

All About You

Experience in strategic product management, product development, or business development in financial services and/or bankcard industry preferred.





Experience with AI and/or Machine Learning

Experience in creating product strategies, roadmaps, pricing and product positioning

Background in product management and experience with product launches and implementation plans in multiple markets

Demonstrated thought leadership, product expertise, strong project management skills in the integration of technology into new products

Demonstrated success in Product Management and Product Development life cycles delivering results with global, multi-cultural and remote project teams.

Prioritize product features and capabilities based on user value and business impact.

Collaborate closely with technology team, marketing, regional support, and other stakeholders.

Self-starter and quick learner with ability to work independently and operates with a sense of urgency

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice to have

Experience in Cybersecurity

Experience with ecommerce and/or digital identity

Experience with Agile product development

Background with Cloud Architecture

Ability to travel up to 15%

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in Canada, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive pay based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Vancouver, Canada: $121,000 - $169,000 CAD

Toronto, Canada: $121,000 - $169,000 CAD
